Accelerators give startups the power to do more, faster. With seed capital, mentorship, extra hands on and the chance to focus on business 24/7, ideas quickly become solid reality. Wellington-based accelerator program Lightning Lab, launched in February, with the goal of supporting entrepreneurs within New Zealand’s startup ecosystem. The program, which funds about 10 companies each year, is a member of the Global Accelerator Network, which was founded by TechStars.
