Open Garden gives you a peer-to-peer connections!!!!!!!


Open Garden is a mobile broadband network made of peer-to-peer connections between devices like smartphones, laptops and tablets.

Open Garden bets on the density of these devices to recreate a network and provide any user with ubiquitous access to the internet in mobility situations. The benefits are a faster internet access, a stronger coverage and also free mobile broadband.

Mobile operators can optimize their network infrastructure without any investment in hardware.
Open Garden started with a test application on Android that turns your phone into a hotspot and gathered more than 1 million users. These users accounted for 0.03% of mobile broadband traffic in North America in 2011.

Open Garden has released a prototype in private beta of the peer-to-peer mesh application in february 2012, that will go public in may.

The size of our addressable market is $6 billion. Revenues will be generated through premium features and advertising.
