Co-Working: MAKERS in Seattle!!!!

MAKERS opened up shop in Seattle in 2011. The building is full of refurbished wood and natural light, reminiscent of Seattle’s nature-loving atmosphere. There are several tiers of membership, and non-members can rent out certain spaces at certain times.

Green Spaces can be found in Denver, CO, New York City, and (soon) Minneapolis, MN. The space particularly hosts companies that focus on “doing good.” Collaboration, networking, and access to influencers across the world are just a few perks of being a member at Green Spaces.

Co-Working: 1871 in Chicago

Chicago’s 1871 (named after the 1871 Chicago fire) is located in the historic Merchandise Mart. The 50,000-square-foot facility provides Chicago startups with affordable workspace and access to mentors, programming, educational resources, potential investors and a community of like-minded entrepreneurs. There are three different kinds of memberships that offer different levels of access to the space. They also host classes, workshops, and networking events.

Co-working 1776 in Washington DC!!!!!

1776 opened January 2013 in Washington, DC. 1776 is a great space for entrepreneurs. Many of the businesses that work here are focused on solving our nation’s toughest problems in healthcare, education, energy, and government.

1776 was founded by Evan Burfield and Donna Harris, a pair of successful entrepreneurs with experience building companies and communities. Together, they bring the 1776 community their expertise at the intersection of innovation and regulated industries, their experience as startup founders and investors, and the insights critical for startups to thrive in this environment.

Co-Working: The Speak Easy in Indianapolis

The Speak Easy in Indianapolis bills itself as “a combination of a 17th century salon, coffee shop, and science lab.” Companies pay yearly dues and have access to common areas and a conference room, as well as a gaming center and semi-regular events. The Speak Easy is a place for entrepreneurs, startups, and the folks who support them to work, play, and collaborate.

The new startup space is the brainchild of least three groups of people that includes some usual suspects of the Indianapolis startup community: Kristian Andersen, Jeb Banner, Mark Hill, Chris Baggott, Jim Jay, Eric Tobias, Andy Clark, and David Castor (to name a few).

It's essentially a clubhouse for entrepreneurs, designers, and geeks. We believe that bringing these folks together in a fun, productive work environment is the surest way to accelerate the development and launch of high-growth startups in Central Indiana.

Co-Working: The Iceberg!!!!!

The Iceberg is a cool place to work in tiny Fayetteville, Arkansas. The basement space is divided into areas, such as a coffee shop/lounge, conference room, workspace, and resource library. Rent is affordable at The Iceberg, and they offer day passes to those passing through.

The Iceberg is Fayetteville’s brand new, 5,600-square-foot co-working facility specifically designed for entrepreneurs and the like-minded who either can’t afford an office of their own, due to bootstrapped budgets, or who simply want the multiplied resources that an open, collaborative space brings to the table. These resources range from experienced advice in the various business fields to possible financial investment.
