Springleap is not just Africa’s version of Threadless, it’s a shot of adrenaline to South Africa’s textile industry. In a nutshell, artists’ designs are voted on by the Springleap community and the winning design gets emblazoned on t-shirts which go up for sale. There are also cash prizes up for grabs for designers and community members.With Springleap artists gain recognition, community members can grow to become tastemakers and the rest of the world can buy fantastically unique and beautiful t-shirt designs.
